Who are we

WAHTS, a company incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands with its registered address at Gerard Doustraat 75-h 1072 VM Amsterdam (hereafter also: "WAHTS" or "We") is responsible for the processing of your personal data obtained on or via our WAHTS websites (hereafter: "WAHTS Website(s)").
We are a men’s fashion design, production and distribution company, with the headquarter in Europe. WAHTS and all worldwide partners involved in the distribution and sale of WAHTS branded products will hereafter be referred to as "WAHTS partners". All websites relating to WAHTS products or the WAHTS brand will hereafter be referred to as "WAHTS Website(s)").
 

Collecting information

When you visit WAHTS Website(s)"), we obtain personal information which you knowingly disclose to us. We request information when you make purchases, which may include name, address, telephone number, email address, gender, birthday or credit card information, when you request a catalogue, request to receive communications, or when you participate in any other website service.
 
If you expressly opt-in to receive personalized communications by email, we will use your personal information to create a user profile. In this context we may combine the info you give us online with other information from WAHTS sources, transactions and communications collected.
This may include data from the WAHTS Website(s)"), from physical WAHTS selling points, direct mail, on- and offline events, on- and offline contests or online marketing.

Using information 

The personal information actively submitted by you on our WAHTS Website(s)") will be used for the purpose for which you have specifically submitted them, such as the execution of your purchase order (your account history will be stored for two years), participation in a contest, receiving information, etc. We may also use this information, and any info collected by means of cookies or pixel tags to improve our WAHTS Website(s)"), prevent or detect fraud or abuses of our WAHTS Website(s)") and to enable third parties to carry out technical, logistical or other functions/tasks on our behalf.

All data obtained by us via WAHTS Website(s)") will be transferred to our WAHTS headquarter in Europe. The WAHTS headquarter in Europe adhere to the Safe Harbor principles. This means that an adequate level of privacy protection is provided. We may share your personal data with other WAHTS partners, if applicable, to the extent this is necessary for the purposes for which you specifically submitted them.
For the purpose of operating our business, third parties (e.g. credit card companies, shipping companies, customer service providers) may process your data, however only to the extent this is necessary to conduct WAHTS business. We, or, if applicable, our WAHTS partners, have procedures in place to ensure that these third party companies value your privacy.
We do not sell, trade, share or transfer your personal data to any outside parties other than WAHTS, or, if applicable, other WAHTS partners and third party processors.
 

Social platforms 

Please note that, if you choose to select a social platform option on our WAHTS Website(s)"), your activity on the WAHTS Website(s)") will also be made available to social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Please read the privacy policies of those social platforms, because your WAHTS Website(s)") activities published on those platforms will no longer be governed by WAHTS’s privacy policy.

If you turn cookies off, you won't have access to many features that make this Website more efficient and some of our services will not function properly. As cookies are used to track shopping basket items through the order process, it will not be possible to place on order.
 
We also work with other companies who use tracking technologies to serve ads on our behalf across the Internet. These companies may collect non-personally identifiable information about your visits to our Website and your interaction with our communications, including advertising.
 

Unsubscribing, removing or modifying your information

You have the right to withdraw any consent you've given with respect to our use of your personal data. To modify your email subscriptions or to completely opt-out of receiving WAHTS communication, please let us know by sending us an email to service@wahts.com or click on ‘unsubscribe’ in our newsletter. Please note that due to e-mail production schedules, you may still receive any mailings that are already in production.
Note that if you request your account information to be deleted from our database, we may maintain information about individual sales transactions in order to service that transaction or for record keeping. This information will not contain credit details.
 

Protecting your information

We use a variety of security measures, including sophisticated encryption and authentication tools to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we require the use of a secure server. All credit card information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above. Regardless of these efforts, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
